2010 Ginter Code – Here I Come! Repeat?

with 2 comments

So the 2010 Topps Allen & Ginter sell sheets are posted over at bdj610’s blog, and I have to admit that my mouth is watering already.  The prize is the same as what Mike and I were rewarded with after cracking the 2009 code, a full set of the autographs, and your own card in the 2011 set.  There are absolutely no details yet on if these are special cards like 2008 or parallels like 2009.

Notice at the top it says the 2009 code buster will have a card...that should be plural!

I think my chances are as good as anyone’s to crack this thing again, and I’m contemplating teaming up with people again.  If you are interested in teaming up with someone who cracked the 2009 code let me know!!

On a side note, after I got burnt out on buying box after box of new product last year, I decided I was going to stick with buying mostly vintage baseball.  I’ve decided on 1960 Topps baseball, and I’m already about 20% of the way completed.  If you have any of these for trade/sell, let me know!  I will have my want list up soon, but leave a comment if you have anything!

  1. I am highly intrigued by this…I only recently found out about it while I was sorting some singles from last year and found a couple of the code parallels which it got me curious. I love puzzles and mind teasers and wouldn’t spending a few hectic days on the trail of cracking a mystery. The prize is great but not what really interests me…The challenge is what excites me. 2008’s was SO easy. Last year’s was pretty difficult, especially with the red herrings thrown in and multi-layers…No doubt this year’s will be even tougher and likely different in every way from all previous. I can’t wait to see what’s in store.

  2. I’m leaving behind all the crazy from last year and starting fresh on the code this year. Can’t wait to go head to head with you again this year Nick.

    Love the repeat talk!
